This is an amazing first puzzle! Here toddlers can discover the logistics of how to complete a peg puzzle - working on their problem solving skills. As all the pieces are a circle, they don't have to worry about tessellating the pieces to get them to fit. I find with this younger age group, they don't have the fine motor control to work their pieces around and in - these circle shapes negate that!
The three different size circles allow for exploration of size, early math concepts, problem solving and extending descriptive word vocabulary - biggest, smallest.
